Blog · Practical guide

One system. Far more than conventional learning.

EDS makes the most sense where education is sold, organized, documented or certified at the same time. We clearly show who can use it, what processes it connects and what exactly it contains.

A common LMS mainly deals with the content and passage of the course. EDS goes further: it combines application, client card, price, document, communication, group, study, assessment, certificate and audit trail.

The value does not occur in one module, but between modules.

When a person logs in, their data should not end up in an email. They are to determine the right program, group, financial regime and other communication. When they complete an assignment or exam, the result should link to the certificate and remain searchable on the same tab. It is this continuity that distinguishes EDS from an isolated video catalog.

01Application→02CRM→03Document→04Study→05Examination→06Certificate

The entire life cycle of the client

From the first application to a fully traceable outcome.

EDS manages the ideal passage even in situations where something is missing, the payment does not fit or the client needs another route. Each step has an input, an owner, a state, and a result.

01 · Entry

The application will determine the next process.

The applicant selects a program, term or form of study, fills in contact and billing information and, where appropriate, attaches the required documents. The data is saved once and creates the client's work record.

Follows on: study type, price list, group, document control and communication.
02 · Context

CRM card connects the whole relationship.

An authorized worker can see data, applications, groups, documents, financial status, sent e-mails, study progress, attempts, results and issued certificates in one place.

The result: one person, one card, and a traceable history.
03 · Finance

Payment is an event, not the end of a process.

The price and rules are based on the price list. A pre-invoice is created from the verified data, after payment of the invoice and a change in financial status, access to the study and a subsequent automatic e-mail can be triggered.

The specific payment gateway, bank and accounting integration are confirmed during the proposal.
04 · Study

Content forms a controlled path.

Courses, topics, lessons, materials, assignments, and tests are not isolated islands. The publication can follow a date, a group or the fulfillment of a previous obligation, and the status is recorded on the client's card.

The team can see what is done, what is awaiting review and where risk is emerging.
05 · Completion

The exam closes the study track.

EDS links entry conditions, term, specific attempt, result and next procedure. Upon successful completion, it creates a certificate, sends it, and saves it back to the client card.

The result remains associated with the person, program and audit history.
06 · Check

Role and audit will explain who, when and why.

Administrator, coordinator, lecturer, financial role or examiner work only in the specified scope. Significant changes and decisions remain traceable without making the entire card available to everyone.

The rule is being automated; the vague exception remains to the authorized person.

Important internal links

Three operational paths. One data core.

EDS does not have to be used in the same way by every organization. However, the basis is common: a person's identity, their relationship to a course or group, documents, financial events and audit history.

01

Paid public education

Academies, schools, universities and individual tutors.

  1. Application
  2. Order
  3. Document
  4. Study approach
  5. Certificate
The biggest benefit: the sales, financial and study part do not create three separate records.
02

Internal and compulsory education

Employees, contractors and regulated professions.

  1. Import or account
  2. Role and Group
  3. Mandatory content
  4. Test or approval
  5. Audit evidence
The biggest benefit: the organization sees who has completed, who is waiting and what document confirms the result.
03

Partner and Customer Academy

Franchises, distributors, clients and professional networks.

  1. Partner
  2. Group
  3. Product course
  4. Knowledge Verification
  5. Authorization or certificate
The biggest benefit: the external network is educated in a controlled environment without access to internal parts of the organization.
Contact→ application → order → payment and invoice → access
Study→ group → course → lesson → assignment or test → result → certificate

Where to start

Select the first process, not the function list.

The fastest boot starts with one particular stream. Once validated, the same client card, content and automation can be extended to other parts of the organization.

Facts Before Decision

What is included and what is confirmed during design.

Trusted selling separates a verified feature from an integration or extension. Thanks to this, the client knows exactly what he is buying and what requires a separate technical proposal.

Verified in the system

  • applications, CRM and client card,
  • prices, invoices, ISDOC and exports,
  • courses, lessons, assignments and tests,
  • exams, results and certificates,
  • email templates, queue and history,
  • roles, module permissions and auditing.

Confirm for specific deployment

  • payment gateway and bank feed,
  • public API, webhooks and HRIS or CRM integration,
  • SSO, SAML, OIDC and multi-factor authentication,
  • SCORM, xAPI, LTI or QTI portability,
  • calendars, Teams, Zoom or Meet,
  • proctoring, originality check and offline mode.
When EDS may not be the first choice

If you only need a public video library without applications and records, a full-fledged school information system for compulsory school attendance, a massive open MOOC or offline mobile study, it is advisable to first verify another type of platform or integration combination.
